Patrick J Wilmore was born in Worcestershire and grew up in Pershore.
He studied Biological Sciences at the University of East Anglia and has a PhD. He then became a research assistant in the Department of Genetics at Swansea University.
Patrick left Swansea to take up a post teaching biology at Abingdon School in Oxfordshire.
He retired in 2009. His interests include golf, model building and walking. Patrick lives in Wantage, Oxfordshire.
